In its simplest form, Positive Pay is a service that matches the account number, check number and dollar amount of each check presented for payment against a list of checks previously authorized and issued by you. All three components of the check must match exactly or it will not automatically clear.
Simply send us a file of the checks you've issued and we will compare all checks that are presented. We will then notify you of any discrepancies, and prevent the hassle and expense caused by check fraud.
