Loan Documentation Specialist
Location: Downtown, St. Louis, MO
Reports to: Maria Miller
Prepare documentation, monitor quality control, assure lien perfection with priority and funding control. Analyse loan transactions to determine appropriate documentation or funding procedures. Monitor compliance to all funding procedures and credit approvals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Organize and coordinate the completion of transactions.
Prepare loan documentation, substitution/releases, quality review of documents and funding.
Interact with bank management and credit analysts to resolve policy and procedural questions pertinent to loan documentation and fundings. Utilize knowledge of documentation, laws and regulations to assist with the structure of loans.
Interact with Chief Lending Officer, Credit Manager, VP of Loan Administration, Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers to resolve policy and procedural questions.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Complete knowledge and expertise in loan documentation, including but not limited to familiarity with the provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code and general knowledge of real estate laws in the markets where the Bank does business.
Superior computer and word processing skills. Complete knowledge of the Laser Pro System.
